🇦🇩 Andorra: A Mountain Escape
Andorra is a small, independent country nestled between Spain and France. Known for its tax-free shopping and stunning mountain scenery, it’s a unique destination just a few hours from Barcelona.
<🚌 Barcelona to Andorra Day Trip
Travel time: At least 3 hours by coach from Sants EstaciĂł (Metro L3). Once you exit the metro, follow signs to the coach terminal.
Coach tip: There are direct buses that operate regular services and has a counter at the station. They tend to cost from 31€ for a return trip. You can book tickets online — just be cautious of pickpockets in the coach station area.
Important: In most occasions, you must check in at the counter before boarding and they charge for luggage.
My recommended time to visit, unless you are into skiing, would be August. Hotel prices are lower, and coaches are less crowded
🛍️ What to Expect
Andorra’s streets are lined with shops offering perfumes, watches, sunglasses, tobacco, biker gear, chocolate, and more — all tax-free!
Don’t miss Caldea Spa, one of Europe’s largest thermal spas. Soak in the outdoor heated pool while gazing at the Pyrenees — pure bliss.
