CHEAPEST WAY FROM BARCELONA AIRPORT TO BARCELONA CITY CENTRE
From Barcelona's airport (El Prat), go to the train station and get a Casual, an Individual 10-journey ticket travelcard for 12.15€. or buy from TMB's mobile app
The train will take you directly to city centre station which is Plaça Catalunya.
Casual card gives an Individual 10-journey ticket via bus/underground/ferrocarril/tram in zone 1, so 1.22€ a trip.
You can travel between two different methods of transport, with one paid fare, within 75 minutes from the 1st journey made. E.g. a bus/underground, bus/bus wouldn't apply.
Other selling points: any underground and some newsagents or tobacco places, they can only charge you 12.15€

Taxi can cost around 30 to 35€ approximately. They should not charge you until you get in, but some do from where they came from if you book by phone...Uber is no longer in operation :(

Trip 2 - From your accommodation to Lesseps station Metro L3 to visit Parc Güell. Trip 3 - Lesseps to either Fontana to visit Gracia's district, or Diagonal (directly to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo), walk all the way down (check map for hot spots) to the harbour. Trip 4 - Take Metro L3 Drassanes station (where Cristobal Columbus is) to Plaça d'Espanya. Trip 6 - Back to your accommodation. NEXT DAY Trip 7 - From your accommodation to La Sagrada Familia, then walk down "Marina" street to the beach. Trip 8 -Back to your accommodation. Trip 9 - From accommodation to the airport.

Fontana to Passeig de Gracia (La Pedrera & Casa Batllo) 14 mins. 1.3 Kms.
Passeig de Gracia (La Pedrera & Casa Batllo) to Placa Catalunya 12 mins. 1 Km.
Placa Catalunya to La boqueria 7 mins. 550 metres.
La boqueria to Drassanes 9 mins. 800 metres.
Drassanes to the beach 30 mins. 2.4 Kms.
Beach to Placa d'Espanya 1 hour. 4.8 Kms.
Placa d'Espanya to Placa de Catalunya, 32 mins. 2.7 Kms.
A friend once came to visit, and she was happy for us to walk, we did 5.2 Kms from Lesseps to the Beach, and from the beach to my house, so nearly 6 Kms more.
From Parc Guell (Fontana) to the beach 5.3km or 1 hour (probably more).
