Would you like specific hotel names?

  • 3* Hotel Barcelo 1929 was great.
  • 4* next door Plaza Hotel would probably be even better (I haven't tried it).
  • If I had the money, I'd stay in the 5* Mandarin Oriental, in Barcelona’s own grand avenue Passeig de Gràcia. Why that one? Because I know as a former Travel Agent that it is sound proof, spacious, and it is ideally located a short walk from Plaça de Catalunya.

With or without breakfast? It depends on your preference, I prefer to try all the bakeries nearby, you can have a breakfast for 2 for €10 euros or so.
