Russian Salad Recipe

πŸ›’ Ingredients:

  • πŸ₯” 4 Boiled potatoes (diced)
  • πŸ₯• 2 Boiled carrots (diced)
  • 🌱 1 small packet of Green beans (blanched and chopped)
  • πŸ₯š 2 boiled eggs (chopped)
  • 🐟 Tuna in sunflower oil
  • πŸ₯„ Mayonnaise (add one big spoon at a time, and keep tasting so you don’t overdo it)
  • πŸ«’ Optional: Olives

  1. πŸ”ͺ Dice all ingredients and combine in a large bowl.
  2. πŸ”₯ Boil potatoes, carrots, and eggs until tender. Blanch green beans.
  3. πŸ«’ Add olives if you like them.
  4. πŸ₯„ Mix with mayonnaise until creamy and well combined.
  5. ❄️ Chill before serving for best flavor.

  • πŸ§„ 3 cloves of garlic
  • πŸ§… 1 brown onion
  • 🌢️ 1 red pepper
  • πŸ… 1 tomato
  • πŸ₯© 600g diced beef
  • πŸ₯£ 500ml beef stock
  • 🍷 1 glass of white wine
  • πŸ₯” 4 large potatoes (diced)
  • 🌿 1 bay leaf
  • 🌼 A pinch of saffron
  • πŸ’§ Water (enough to cover ingredients in slow cooker)
  • πŸ₯– White baguette (to serve)

Fry garlic, onion, red pepper, and tomato until tender. Brown the diced beef. If using an olla exprΓ©s (pressure cooker), cook for about 35–40 minutes. In a slow cooker, cook for 4 hours on maximum. Add beef stock and white wine, then transfer to the slow cooker with water, potatoes, bay leaf, and saffron. Cook until potatoes are tender and the sauce is rich. Serve hot with white baguette to soak up the sauce.
