π₯ How to Cook a Real Spanish Omelette (for 1)
π§ Ingredients
- Olive oil (enough to cover the potatoes for frying)
- 2 large potatoes (suitable for frying)
- 2 eggs
Optional: Some people like to add onion, chorizo, or peppers β but I prefer it simple and classic!
π©βπ³ Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into small pieces.
- Add a pinch of salt.
- Fry the potatoes in olive oil until tender.
- Drain the oil and set the potatoes aside.
- Whip the eggs with a little salt.
- Mix the fried potatoes into the whipped eggs.
- Add a small amount of olive oil to the pan and pour in the mixture.
- Cook gently β donβt leave it too long or it will overcook.
- Flip the omelette using a lid or a large plate to avoid spills.
- Cook the other side briefly, just until set.
VoilΓ ! Your homemade Spanish omelette is ready to enjoy.
